Parachute: The Poetry Blog
'I have woven a parachute out of everything broken.' - William Stafford
6/28/08: Parachute rips
Well, apologies to all. I haven't been updating the blog every day. Work is part of the problem; I'm in a training program and doing my regular job as well. Time is short, but things should improve after July 4.

Two things:

One: Parachute is seeking poems on summer and autumn, on music, on the arts, and on what I call "freakish nature." I don't want flowers and bees; I want storms, cyclones, mudslides, or just plain weird-ass places. E-mail them to jme@johnmarkeberhart.com.

Two: Check out donnatrussell.com, a fairly new site by poet and writer Donna Trussell of Kansas City, who has a new book coming out soon. Donna was kind enough to cite an article I wrote recently for the KC Star, but her site offers much more, including poems, prose etc.

Donna's link is broke. An easy fix, so got to the page anyway, but I thought you might want to know.
